With fingers crossed, I checked the weather every day for 2 weeks leading up to this March wedding. We had ambitious plans for photos, but springtime in Chilliwack can be dicey. Thankfully, sun shone all day and we raced around town to check all the boxes: downtown Chilliwack for some 'urban' photos, off to Earl's Restaurant for some interior shots, back down through town to a friend's farm for the rustic barn photos, then back to the hall to wrap up some in the orchard. It was a fast-paced but fantastic time with a couple of the funnest people I've worked with so far.
For the prep and reception, I used the Sigma 30mm f1.4 and Pentax FA 50mm 1.4. The ceremony and outdoor portraits were captured with the Pentax DA* 50-135 f2.8 & Pentax DA* 16-50mm f2.8. I shoot with Pentax K-3 bodies, and use Yongnuo speedlights + triggers.
